About the studio

We started Riverpoint because most marketing felt like noise pretending to be a plan.

Riverpoint Marketing Inc. was incorporated in the State of Delaware in 2019 by Ipung Gani — a creative director who had spent a decade watching ambitious founders get sold campaigns when what they needed were systems. We are now a team of strategists, writers, designers, growth engineers and producers, working with around 20 clients a year from offices in Dover, Jakarta and Lisbon.

A letter from the founder

"I built Riverpoint because I got tired of being the smartest agency in the room and the least useful one in the business."

Halo — I'm Ipung. I grew up between Surabaya and the Pacific Northwest, which is a long way of saying I grew up next to a lot of water. Rivers taught me something most marketing never figured out: pressure is loud, but current is what actually moves continents.

For ten years I worked inside the kind of agencies that win awards on Tuesday and lose accounts on Friday. Brilliant people, beautiful decks, almost no compounding effect on the businesses they served. The work ended the day the invoice cleared.

Riverpoint is the studio I wished existed when I was on the client side. We sit closer to the founder than to the marketing org. We write strategies short enough to remember. We build creative that earns the second look. And we wire performance plumbing so that everything we ship keeps paying you back six quarters from now.
